It's a workout that emphasizes the integration of mind and body with the focus of developing awareness on breath, sensations, movement, posture and is performed slowly and with a high degree of attention.

Somatic exercises reduce chronic muscle tension and promote a more relaxed state that activates our Rest and Digest Parasympathetic State and thereby keeping us in a state of homeostasis. In this fast-paced lifestyle that we have, most people feel that it is the “norm” to be always in a state of hypervigilance and feeling relaxed is even equated to “luxury.” The Farm will teach us how to reconnect with our true nature of relaxed but fully awake and not stuck in sympathetic overdrive, which can lead to burnout or exhaustion if not addressed early.
