The purpose of the rectal infusion is to let the herbal solution to be absorbed in the sigmoid colon. This is the site where substances in the colon is reabsorbed. It will be delivered directly to the liver and will provide the therapeutic effect of the herb. Rectal infusion therapy is ideal after colon cleansing.

The 4 oz. of wheatgrass or aloe vera is infused through the rectum via a foley (rubber) catheter as medically indicated. This procedure ensures that the large intestinal wall is nourished and able to receive abundant nutrients.
