The Farm at San Benito Recognized as an Exemplary Healing Hotel, Receives Healing Certification from Germany and Philippine Department of Tourism Safety Seal

COVID forced all businesses particularly in the tourism industry to comply with stricter measures to continue operation. The Farm at San Benito, as a medical wellness facility, was able to secure necessary permits to allow its reopening last year May 2020, the first to reopen in the country and continue its mission to champion a holistic approach to wellness and preventative medicine.

The Farm’s efforts to keep a safe haven for health enthusiasts amid this trying time has been recognized once again through the Healing Certification given by Healing Hotels of the World, Germany. The Healing Certification is proof that the medical wellness resort passed the comprehensive healing excellence criteria which are not limited to COVID-19 safety measures required in their respective regions.

The Farm has set up its onsite COVID testing center to ensure that all guests and staff do not pose any risk to others on the property. In addition, the staff is required to undergo this test regularly at a reasonable time.

Released by the Healing Hotels of the World, the certificate also means that the hotel is recognized for its “commitment to healing on both a safety and holistic level.” It also highlights exceptional healing perspectives in order to achieve wellness through programs and treatments specifically addressing COVID-19 related recovery and other holistic health and lifestyle goals.

The Farm has come up with specifically designed Immune Support and Post-COVID Recovery Program both for those who wish to increase their fighting chance against the infection and those who have gotten well but are suffering from what is known as “Post-COVID Syndrome” which is characterized by loss of taste and smell, fatigue, difficulty breathing, muscle & joint pains as well as digestive issues.

The Farm also offers other medically supervised, science-based programs such as Holistic Detox Cleanse, Radiation Detox, Mental Health, Pain Management, Weight Management, Diabetes Prevention, & Heart Health, Holistic Cancer Care, Sleep Induction, Smoking Cessation, and more.

The Healing Certification was created to include “holistic healing as a key component for guests to be able to evaluate the worth of visiting a property.” Prior to this, industry certifications are mainly limited to safety and cleanliness protocols. As establishments under the rising wellness industry, Healing Hotels of the World wants to make sure that each hotel’s merits with regard to health are highlighted as well. As Healing Hotels of the World CEO and co-founder Anne Biging put it, “Healing Certification demonstrates this property’s commitment not only to Covid-19 safety protocols, but also to deeply nourishing programs which create healing havens for body, mind, and soul. Time spent at a healing destination will help you to find a release from the trauma and stress we have all experienced over this past year – providing each of us a new sense of peace and vitality.”

In addition, The Farm at San Benito has also been issued by the Department of Tourism (DOT) a DOT safety seal in recognition of the property’s strict adherence to safety and health protocols against COVID-19.

With these efforts, The Farm has also fulfilled the requirements and is authorized by the department to operate as a staycation.

The battle against COVID-19 is not an impossible fight to win. By following government mandates and the pieces of advice by health experts, people can surely overcome the pandemic. As for The Farm at San Benito, it will strive to remain true to its mission and won’t let this hindrance stop it from promoting holistic wellness to those who are looking to achieve a better and healthier version of themselves.
