A Gym, equipped with a cybex machine, pilates balls, mini trampolines and dumbbells; and three swimming pools are available throughout the day for house guests. Meditation, Yoga and Movement sessions are scheduled throughout the day, allowing all guests to participate at their convenience. Participation in the Daily Activities is encouraged to support the achievement of your personal health goals. Private sessions may be arranged by special appointment.

AN INTRODUCTION TO YOGA



Come explore and experience the practices of this ancient tradition. Yoga embraces and cultivates a lifestyle of holistic living. It is a prescription for a healthier and a more balanced lifestyle. Come learn the basic foundational aspects and the basic practices of yoga as a path of healing and well-being. Beginner level class.

ANUSARA INSPIRED MEDITATION & YOGA



Come Explore, experience and integrate the entire spectrum of yoga, aligning your body, your mind, and your spirit. Anusara Yoga in Sanskrit means ‘flowing with nature’, ‘following your heart’ and aligning with the universal currents’ and intelligence within your body.

For beginners and advanced yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their practice and refine their alignment are welcome.


BELLY YOGA


Integrate isolations of belly dancing into your yoga practice. Focusing on Body awareness, this helps tone the muscles and improves posture.

CORE CLASS


Aims to improve endurance, strength, and stability of the muscles of the core: lower back, abdominals, and sides.

EQUIPOISE


Inspiration from Taichi, Yoga and Pilates workouts improving joint flexibility, range of motion, tones and shapes the body, enhancing mental well being.

GENTLE FLOW YOGA


Suitable for all practitioners including beginners and even those with minor injuries. A slow paced class focuses on the foundations, alignment and the Vinyasa sequence emphasizing on breath, body awareness even building strength and flexibility of the body.

MEDITATION and PRANAYAMA


Come explore the currents of your mind. Why do we meditate? What are the benefits of meditation? Bring awareness to the realm of your thought and deepen your understanding of your own ways of being. Come explore the rhythm of your own breath, the breath of life. Prana-our life force energy. Experience the different ways to access and channel your breath for a more rejuvenated body heart mind and soul. Open to all Levels.

SATSANG


SATSANG (lit., “in the company of Truth”) is the spiritual practice of coming together to chant, meditate, or study the Guru’s teachings. It is also the practice of sharing our wisdom with one another.

SUNSET YOGA & MEDITATION


During these sessions, students will learn various hatha yoga poses that focus on intention, alignment, and skill in action. Sunrise classes begin with a morning meditation that will ease into poses that may include warm up poses, standing poses, hip openers, forward bends, back bends, and inversions. Sunset classes will end with meditation. Mixed level class

SUNRISE YOGA


Be energized by the sun as you combine pranayama (breathing exercise) and asanas (postures) in a journey to awaken your own inner sun.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA


A dynamic system of connecting the breath to the postures, achieved through building heat into the body which develops flexibility, balance and strength. Sequence is built with series of sun salutations.

YOGALATES


Yogalates is a yoga fusion class which combines strengthening of the muscles in the abdominal region and develops flexibility of the entire body. This is good for injury prevention, back care, and strong abs. This blend addresses all the major muscle groups.

FITNESS

AB BLASTER


Building great Abs and a well defined six pack is actually the result of exercising two targeted areas of the abdominal muscle mass; the lower abdominals and upper abdominals. On average, one wouldn’t begin to build Abs with a ten percent or more fat density but average applies to weight resistance building of the Abs.

AQUA AEROBICS


Aerobic exercise is essential for weight control, cardiovascular health and overall fitness. Aquatic exercise offers many unique benefits and is safe for people of all ages.

BOOT CAMP



Boot Camp training often commences with dynamic stretching and running, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting/objects, pulling grubber, push-ups/sit-up’s, plyometric, and various types of intense explosive routines.

Rain or shine, this outdoor workout is a fun and intense workout to jump start overall fitness.


CALISTHENICS


Form of exercise consisting of a variety of simple, often rhythmical, movements, generally without using equipment or apparatus. They are intended to increase body strength and flexibility with movements such as bending, jumping, swinging, twisting or kicking, using only one’s body weight for resistance. Draw the power from within.

CIRCUIT TRAINING



Training technique that involves moving from one exercise to another, each exercise working a different muscle group until each muscle has been worked. It can include strength training stations, cardio stations or a mixture of the two. The purpose is to keep the heart rate elevated, although many experts feel that, with circuit training, you’re actually getting the worst of both worlds since you’re splitting your energies between cardio and strength. It can be a good workout but, like any training method, should be changed every 4-6 weeks to avoid boredom and plateaus.

FITNESS ROUND


Focusing on short burst of energy followed by toning and strengthening exercises. Run, Jump, Lunge & Pump it up!

HIP-HOP ABS


Our bodies are designed to be active throughout our entire lives. A strong and flexible core; abdominals, hips and lower back, are important in stabilizing the entire body.

INSANITY


A workout regimen similar to P90X. Developed by Shaun T., Insanity’s emphasize on “max interval training”, a method of exercising during which one works out strenuously for 3-4 minutes and then rests or “cools down” for approximately 30 seconds before starting the whole process over again. This is more intense than traditional interval training.

INTERVAL TRAINING


Interval training is a type of physical training that involves a series of low to high intensity workouts interspersed with rest or relief periods. The high – intensity periods are typically at or close to anaerobic exercise, while the recovery periods may involve either complete rest or activity of lower intensity. Get ready to sweat!

PLYOMETRICS


Plyometrics also known as “jumping training” or “plyos” are exercises based around having muscles exert maximum force in as short a time as possible, with the goal of increasing both speed and power. This training focuses on learning to move from a muscle extension to a contraction in a rapid or “explosive” way. Gain explosive power, speed and stamina.

Get up! Heat up! Stand up! Excite the muscles, joints and lymphatic system while sweating out toxins and at the same time losing weight. Live your life to the fullest and have fun!

Come and Join the walk with Mr. Elmo Bado and Learn about the different economic uses of plants.

OIL OF LIFE TOUR


Learn about the incredible qualities of coconuts, and the many products we make from them. Join our Oil of Life tour and experience the process from harvesting the coconuts to the production of virgin cold-pressed coconut oil, and learn how to make soap using only natural ingredients.
